Proxy producer for a first-time financier on an acclaimed Indian feature — led studio negotiations, ran on-floor operations, and steered it to international festival recognition.
First-time producers were risking $1M on a feature with top Indian actors but had no production playbook. I led studio negotiations with Applause Entertainment, managed on-floor operations, directed behind-the-scenes content, and even re-cast a role mid-production. The film — The Rapist — premiered to acclaim at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF 2021).
